Faith Groups Unite To Call For Same Sex Marriage

At a press conference yesterday in Edinburgh, faith groups united to call on the Scottish Government to introduce same sex marriage, and to allow those religious bodies that want to, to solemnise same sex marriages. The Unitarians, Liberal Jewish Community, Quakers, Metropolitan Community Church, Pagan Federation, and Buddhist Community of Interbeing all wish to conduct same sex marriages, and joined together in the conference, which was chaired by Bishop Richard Holloway, former leader of the Scottish Episcopal Church.
